1. Be Fruitful and Multiply

Being fruitful means multiplication, increase, and producing results. The Bible teaches that what we sow can produce a harvest. Giving is therefore an important part of living a fruitful and abundant life.

- God commanded mankind to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28; Genesis 9:1).

- What we sow, we will reap (Galatians 6:7–9).

- Genesis 8:22 teaches that seedtime and harvest will continue.

- In God's Kingdom, giving is connected to increase and abundance, while the world often measures prosperity by what a person possesses.

- Giving creates an opportunity for increase and blessing (Luke 6:38; Proverbs 11:24–25).

- A seed must be sown before it can multiply (John 12:24).

- We are encouraged to sow generously and consistently (Ecclesiastes 11:1, 6).

- It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).

- As we grow in faith, we should also excel in the grace of giving (II Corinthians 8:7).

Key Lesson:

Giving is an expression of faith. As we grow spiritually, we should also develop a generous heart and become fruitful in giving.
